Hummingbird Feeder

I was recently introduced to hummingbird feeders by a friend of mine. While sitting on her patio this Fall I noticed a tiny bird zip by me, perch on a feeder for a quick second and buzz off again. This was the first time I had ever seen a hummingbird in real life. After that every little guy that came by for a drink had my attention, I was mesmerized.

Fast forward a few weeks later, my friend decided that her housewarming present to us would be hummingbird feeder! I was so excited, I quickly looked up how to make nectar and that very same day the feeder was up on my patio.

I was warned that it takes them a while to find the feeder and eventually they would come a week or so later. Well that was not the case for us. About 4 hours after it was hung up we had our first guest! Since then it has been a consistent flow of birds everyday.
